Dave Nalezny

Co-Owner / Co-Founder

Husband to Kitty, Brother to Dan

A veteran of NAHA, Jean-Georges and Gibson’s, Dave provides the creativity in the Park & Field kitchen. Dave started his culinary career at 14 as a dishwasher and worked his way up through the ranks of some of Chicago’s best kitchens. With a focus on a seasonal driven menu and sourcing products from local farmers, Dave is looking to reimagine what food at a sports club can be. An avid gardener and remodeler, Dave has concentrated these passions into the creation of Park & Field, working with his wife Kitty to create an environment that respects the traditions of hospitality and warmth long-treasured in each of their respective families.

Kitty Izzo

Co-Owner / Co-Founder

Wife to Dave, Sister-In-Law to Dan

A lifelong lover of the arts, Kitty has a deep rooted passion for interior design and event planning. The last decade has been spent working for some of America’s top home brand designers, including Calvin Klein and Michael Aram. “I feel that the aesthetic of a venue should transport you entirely… the food, the ambiance, the music, right down to the lighting and plate ware. You should walk away from a meal feeling like you were just in another dimension entirely. It should be all encompassing. Captivating. That’s what I intend Park and Field to do: redefine the term, “sports bar” and offer some place stylish to watch a game.”

Dan Nalezny

Co-Owner / Co-Founder / GM

Brother to Dave, Brother-In-Law to Kitty

Dan brings years of experience to the operation after running Chicago sports bars such as Duffy’s and Standard. An extreme sports fan himself, Dan wanted to channel that passion into an establishment of his own. “I wanted a place that had state-of-the-art audio and visual components to watch a game, but something that also made people comfortable and reminded them of hanging out in their friends living room” Dan’s deep connections with local breweries and distributors will allow Park & Field to have a beverage department that will feature an innovative beer and spirits list including limited and rare releases.
